Chain Cup Arrives in Red Lodge

During the middle of March I sent the package out into the world, a trip to create a physical social network between various faith communities in the world. This time of year is a holy season, with many connecting links creating even further potential for contemplative interaction. Arriving in Red Lodge, I anticipated opening the package to find what was left in the diary, and on the camera. This is in essence a piece of journalism, with the interviewer being an object rather than a human interaction.

I opened the box with everyone who was along for the trip in the dining room of this gorgeous house, as I lifted the cup from the box for the first time in two months the patina of history had a profound affect as I held it in my hands, knowing that it had created fellowship between these folks..  The writing and photography that served to document the cup's journey was equally fascinating, and as I ruminate over what this work may become, or where it will go from here, I share with you those images and words....

Thank You to all who participated, I am as blessed as the cup to have been in your kind presence...
